The Malta Drive-In Theatre is now closed for the regular season.

HOWEVER the Malta Drive-In Theatre will be hosting the 8th annual Helping Hands Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 1st. The day will be filled with a variety of family-friendly activities from 2pm and on. Events and activities going on at scheduled times during the day include Bounce House, Inflatables and Slides, Face Painting & Temporary Tattoos, Obstacle Course, Jungle Jim, Kid’s Karaoke, Hayrides, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, a Fire Truck, Bubble Activities, Birds of Prey Show, Hula Hoop Contest, Melvin the Magnificent, Bake Sale, Basket Raffles and Silent Auction. The snack bar will be open through the day.

The evening is capped off by a movie double feature at 7pm of "The Smurfs" followed by "Mr. Popper’s Penguins". Re-entry is permitted. The Malta Drive-In Theatre and Furniture Theatre sponsor this event.

All proceeds are to benefit Helping Hands School, a preschool for special needs kids.
